   Whether you’re looking for watercolours, oils, acrylics or miniatures, you’ll find the work of many leading British artists –  and talented amateurs –  in the British Society of Painters online exhibition.
   The world-famous artists involved with the Society include the renowned wildlife painter David Shepherd, OBE, FRSA, who is the society’s President; Founder Members Terence Cuneo, OBE, CVO and Rowland Hilder, OBE; Vice-President Maurice Lee, of The Grumbleweeds fame, and Leslie Simpson, FRSA, the Director, who after a lifetime of traditional painting is forging a new reputation with his loveable Whimseycollie collection. The society’s first Honorary International Fellow was the late Pietro Annigoni.
   Among the artists on display in the online exhibition are many who are regulars at the society’s  exhibitions which attract thousands of art-lovers to the picturesque Yorkshire town of Ilkley four times a year. They include Fellows of the society like Philip Claydon, Elizabeth Anne Fryers, Richard Gawthorpe, Anita Hall, Pamela Kearney, Ray Taylor and Peter Worswick, as well as many others steadily making a name for themselves.
